Portrait Information

Portraits are created from your black and white, or color photograph(s).

Scanned copies in jpeg or gif format should be sent by email.

Photographic images should be clear, and show as many details of the subject's face as possible.

If the photo can't be used for some reason, you will be notified immediately, and be asked to send another image to work with.

All portraits are drawn on 100% acid-free, 80 LB archival quality paper, and sealed with a matte spray fixative to prevent the charcoal from smudging.

Portraits can not be reworked after they are sealed.

Portraits are of head and shoulders only.

Finished portrait size is 14"x17" or 18"x24".

Prices shown are for one subject per portrait.

Portraits are heavily detailed, have countless layers of charcoal, and can take up to 30 hours or more to complete.

Please allow up to 4 weeks for delivery (6 weeks during the holiday season).

Finished portraits will be sent carefully rolled in a mailing tube for protection.

All portraits are mailed and insured through USPS.

All portraits are signed and dated by the artist.

Do you draw group portraits?
All portraits are single subject only.

Can I have a different background added to my portrait?
These portraits are of the head and shoulders. They focus on the details of the subject's face.

May I order a portrait of my pet?
Animal and pet portraits are not available, but could be added in the near future.

Are the celebrity portraits for sale?
The portraits of famous faces were drawn as example works only. They are not for sale at this time.
